Speaker:

really special episode that I know is going to resonate with.

Speaker:

So many of you I'd like to introduce you to Krishna

Speaker:

Avalon Krishna is a subconscious transformational guide life coach and licensed

Speaker:

and credentialed acupuncturist.

Speaker:

Who's worked with over 24,000

Speaker:

clients during her 18 years in practice Krishna's work helps people

Speaker:

expand their subconscious beliefs from what is limited or self-sabotaging.

Speaker:

Gosh, I know a lot of us can relate to this.

Speaker:

Her clients walk away feeling empowered as the creators of their

Speaker:

own lives.

Speaker:

She's here to talk with us about how important subconscious transformation

Speaker:

in your career and life overall can be and who can

Speaker:

benefit from this Krishna.

Speaker:

Welcome to the gift biz unwrapped podcast as is a tradition

Speaker:

here. I'd like to start with your motivational candle.

Speaker:

You can include in your description,

Speaker:

or maybe you can talk about this afterwards,

Speaker:

however you want to say it,

Speaker:

but I was very intrigued with what you did when we

Speaker:

first started talking.

Speaker:

So you lit a match and you were doing some things

Speaker:

over on that end.

Speaker:

So I'd like you to describe that for everybody.

Speaker:

And also then share with us what a motivational candle would

Speaker:

look like.

Speaker:

Yeah, I mean,

Speaker:

for me,

Speaker:

I was just lighting some sweet grass just to ground my

Speaker:

own energy and our space and prepare for a sacred conversation

Speaker:

and just the highest and best of my own voice and

Speaker:

clarity to come through.

Speaker:

So just setting that intention and I love fire.

Speaker:

I'm a fire sign.

Speaker:

So candles definitely resonate for me.

Speaker:

And I love that you do that in your podcast just

Speaker:

because it does in my imagination,

Speaker:

bring a ceremonial aspect and an intention to our conversation and

Speaker:

our intention in the world.

Speaker:

I never thought about it as ceremonial before,

Speaker:

but you're right.

Speaker:

I always think of it is it's a unique way for

Speaker:

someone to share who they are in addition to what I

Speaker:

talk about in the intro,

Speaker:

but the whole ceremonial idea,

Speaker:

I really liked that.

Speaker:

Yeah. And ceremony doesn't have to be this big,

Speaker:

long elaborate thing.

Speaker:

It can just be something that you bring intention to.

Speaker:

And it's really how I try to live my life.

Speaker:

So I made that.

Speaker:

Tell me about your motivational candle would be.

Speaker:

Yeah, and I love this so much,

Speaker:

but what I've come to understand about my purpose here on

Speaker:

earth. And I feel just so blessed to even know what

Speaker:

that is,

Speaker:

is like I'm really here to love and be loved.

Speaker:

And one of the things that I also just get so

Speaker:

lit up by and inspired by is holding space for people

Speaker:

to transform into believing that they are worthy of the very

Speaker:

best that love in life have to offer.

Speaker:

And so I love to facilitate that for people.

Speaker:

I love to help guide people into what they really want

Speaker:

and what lights up their hearts here to just help people

Speaker:

understand that we are so limitless as creators limitless.

Speaker:

That's my love language and an essence.

Speaker:

And if you ask me like what my color was,

Speaker:

I would definitely say some shade of pink,

Speaker:

maybe like a dusty rose,

Speaker:

just like that sweet,

Speaker:

soft, open,

Speaker:

receptive love.

Speaker:

And I mean,

Speaker:

I'm a fire sign.

Speaker:

I'm super feisty,

Speaker:

like by nature.

Speaker:

But the balance of that for me is like very soft,

Speaker:

feminine open.

Speaker:

And that's a lot of the people that come to me

Speaker:

to, for coaching is like super achieved,

Speaker:

successful just boss babes who are really brilliant and they're masculine

Speaker:

and now they want to understand how to be more feminine,

Speaker:

receptive in this other like aspect of expression.

Speaker:

So interesting.

Speaker:

So I'm very into what you do,

Speaker:

what you coach,

Speaker:

everything that you stand for.

Speaker:

But I can't say that I know really a lot about

Speaker:

it. I've heard this term holding space before.

Speaker:

What does that mean when you're holding space for somebody?

Speaker:

Yeah. And I love these questions because I think we do

Speaker:

hear a lot of things,

Speaker:

especially now with the kind of work that I do.

Speaker:

I'm in this education phase of it,

Speaker:

just like I was when I was first an acupuncturist almost

Speaker:

Speaker:

people didn't really know what acupuncture was.

Speaker:

They didn't know what it could do for them.

Speaker:

It was still illegal in many states to become an acupuncturist.

Speaker:

And so same thing with the subconscious mind,

Speaker:

I'm in this education phase of it.

Speaker:

Cause we've heard about it now,

Speaker:

a lot,

Speaker:

it's trending in the spiritual wellness world,

Speaker:

but I'm teaching people now like how magical the subconscious is.

Speaker:

And as far as holding space,

Speaker:

it's like you've been in the presence of somebody who can

Speaker:

be present with you,

Speaker:

no matter how you are,

Speaker:

you can show up as you are,

Speaker:

whether you're angry,

Speaker:

you're overwhelmed,

Speaker:

you're messy or sad,

Speaker:

you're chaotic.

Speaker:

And that person is just able to be with you without

Speaker:

making it their own without matching your energy,

Speaker:

without making it about themselves.

Speaker:

They're just in a place where they have done their own

Speaker:

work. They know how to be in their own energy and

Speaker:

be with you.

Speaker:

And you can feel that when you're with someone,

Speaker:

right? So accepting people who they are at that moment in

Speaker:

time when they're with you is opening space.

Speaker:

You could be where you are with your energy and they

Speaker:

can be where they are.

Speaker:

And you can respect each other's spaces of how you've shown

Speaker:

up at that given time.

Speaker:

Yeah. And it would really in a short way of explaining

Speaker:

it, just being present with somebody,

Speaker:

being able to be present with someone and hold space for

Speaker:

whatever they're going through and whatever their own experience is presence.

Speaker:

Yes. And so the first thing that comes to my mind

Speaker:

with this is how we all are so busy in our

Speaker:

life. We all have our own agendas.

Speaker:

And I think often we don't take a minute to think

Speaker:

of where that other person might be coming from before we

Speaker:

start with our agenda with them could be on a phone

Speaker:

call, you know,

Speaker:

they pick up the phone,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

maybe you don't even know if anyone has time to talk

Speaker:

with you or you're at a meeting or something.

Speaker:

People are diving right into their goal for your time together

Speaker:

versus registering where that other person is that you're talking to.

Speaker:

Does that make sense?

Speaker:

Is that right?

Speaker:

Yeah. And I think that's great.

Speaker:

So share with me a little bit about how you came

Speaker:

to see this as your mission for your life.

Speaker:

Hmm. I mean my personal story and the lessons that I

Speaker:

came into this world having to navigate for one,

Speaker:

and then I think I've been a healer forever lifetimes,

Speaker:

if you believe in that kind of thing.

Speaker:

And so acupuncture school for me was the very first thing

Speaker:

in my life that I ever committed to and trusted 100%

Speaker:

and never looked back,

Speaker:

never doubted I'd say that becoming a mom was the second

Speaker:

thing, mothering,

Speaker:

very natural for me.

Speaker:

And then the third thing was this process that I was

Speaker:

trained in with the subconscious mind,

Speaker:

like I'm a really successful,

Speaker:

really good acupuncturist,

Speaker:

really good space holder.

Speaker:

I guide ceremonies.

Speaker:

That's all very natural for me,

Speaker:

but it would have taken something super special for me to

Speaker:

switch career paths.

Speaker:

And I started learning about the subconscious mind.

Speaker:

I was like thing.

Speaker:

Like my intuition just came online and I just went towards

Speaker:

it sorta like I did with acupuncture school,

Speaker:

not in the same way,

Speaker:

but I knew that it was something that I wanted to

Speaker:

train in.

Speaker:

And it's because the subconscious mind creates 90 to 95% of

Speaker:

our lives and our experiences.

Speaker:

And it's because it's where our beliefs are held.

Speaker:

And a lot of people's beliefs are not conscious,

Speaker:

but they're exactly where our memories are stored our autopilot,

Speaker:

our habits.

Speaker:

And so it is how we create life.

Speaker:

And so most people are working with their conscious minds,

Speaker:

which is important and the conscious mind feeds into the subconscious,

Speaker:

but the subconscious is the heavy,

Speaker:

heavy hitter.

Speaker:

And it's the powerhouse.

Speaker:

If you know how to work with the subconscious,

Speaker:

it's just going to be so much quicker and it's going

Speaker:

to be the direct route to being able to create as

Speaker:

you want it to be.

Speaker:

And also to be able to reroute in your mind from

Speaker:

something that's been stressful,

Speaker:

traumatic or something you're in a feedback loop with,

Speaker:

it's consuming your thoughts.

Speaker:

So let me stay right here for a minute just to

Speaker:

make sure that we're all with you about these definitions.

Speaker:

Okay. Because we've got the conscious,

Speaker:

which I think we all know,

Speaker:

well, I'm going to let you define them,

Speaker:

but I also want to include unconscious in there because I

Speaker:

don't want people to confuse unconscious versus subconscious.

Speaker:

So let's take all those three just really quickly.

Speaker:

So we make sure we're all together in the conversation.

Speaker:

I love that so much.

Speaker:

And so our conscious mind is how we make decisions.

Speaker:

It might be how we're trying to make affirmations.

Speaker:

It might be people who have been in talk therapy for

Speaker:

a long time or a short period of time.

Speaker:

They're working with their conscious mind.

Speaker:

The unconscious is the stuff we're not aware of.

Speaker:

And then the subconscious that's where our beliefs are held.

Speaker:

And a lot of those beliefs can be unconscious.

Speaker:

So I like to say like,

Speaker:

if you're looking at an iceberg and we see that little

Speaker:

top part of the iceberg,

Speaker:

that's maybe 10% of the iceberg.

Speaker:

That's the conscious mind,

Speaker:

all that stuff beneath the surface that goes deep and dense.

Speaker:

That's the subconscious.

Speaker:

And so that's everything that the conscious pours into that we've

Speaker:

learned since the beginning.

Speaker:

Like since our conception,

Speaker:

the information we received since then,

Speaker:

I don't know if the right word is a disconnect from

Speaker:

what's really happening or it's just an understanding of what's really

Speaker:

happening because it feels like the way,

Speaker:

I guess I'll just speak for myself.

Speaker:

I'm not going to speak for anybody else,

Speaker:

but I think I'll be probably representative of other people too,

Speaker:

is I have to be conscious to work throughout my day.

Speaker:

Right? Like I have a cup of coffee here.

Speaker:

So I'm going to be very conscious about having purchased the

Speaker:

coffee, bringing it into the office,

Speaker:

being on this interview with you.

Speaker:

Anything that I do throughout the day,

Speaker:

I'm feeling,

Speaker:

I'm drawing on my conscious thought because that's how I actually

Speaker:

do things,

Speaker:

achieve things,

Speaker:

move my arms.

Speaker:

Like I'm intentional about opening my mouth and talking with you.

Speaker:

And that feels like that's conscious to me.

Speaker:

And you're saying that virtually that's only 10% at most,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

five, 10% of our mind.

Speaker:

Right. So then I'm just going to follow through my very

Speaker:

unexperienced knowledge with this.

Speaker:

Just what I'm thinking.

Speaker:

But in talking with you and the little bit of exposure

Speaker:

that I've had to some of this,

Speaker:

I'm thinking now that subconscious things that have been ingrained in

Speaker:

me that I've picked up over time,

Speaker:

that I've learned that I think to myself,

Speaker:

initiate whatever conscious actions I create,

Speaker:

is that right?

Speaker:

Yes, that's exactly.

Speaker:

Exactly, exactly.

Speaker:

Right. So again,

Speaker:

the, that habits and what I can tell you in my

Speaker:

own journey with this,

Speaker:

my training in that all these people that have been able

Speaker:

to guide through this work,

Speaker:

it always comes down to very contracted and very limited beliefs

Speaker:

about ourself worth and what we deserve.

Speaker:

And a lot of that is like your conscious mind might

Speaker:

be like,

Speaker:

I deserve to make this much money,

Speaker:

or I deserve to be treated like this in a relationship.

Speaker:

But if your subconscious mind has never had the experience or

Speaker:

seen that,

Speaker:

that's actually what happens for you.

Speaker:

It won't happen.

Speaker:

And we don't even know that.

Speaker:

That's what we're saying to ourselves.

Speaker:

No most people have zero idea.

Speaker:

Now some people,

Speaker:

because the subconscious mind is training in the spiritual health wellness

Speaker:

world, maybe even the mental health world,

Speaker:

people are starting to understand how powerful it is,

Speaker:

but they don't have the tools to work with it.

Speaker:

And so that's what this process that I was trained in,

Speaker:

which is so simple and your conscious the whole time,

Speaker:

and it can be done in person and virtually.

Speaker:

And it's just so quick.

Speaker:

That's why people are may able to make changes that they

Speaker:

haven't been able to make working with the conscious mind.

Speaker:

And so some of the most amazing transformations I've seen with

Speaker:

people are those people who've been in talk therapy for so

Speaker:

long. They consciously and intellectually understand why something is that's helpful,

Speaker:

but they're still stuck.

Speaker:

They're still angry.

Speaker:

They're still reactive.

Speaker:

They're not creating life as they want it to be.

Speaker:

They're repeating cycles in relationship or money or whatever.

Speaker:

Right. I haven't been able to create that new pathway.

Speaker:

So this work allows for what's called neuro-plasticity.

Speaker:

And that means the brain's ability to make changes and to

Speaker:

have a new pathway,

Speaker:

to go down and have a new experience.

Speaker:

I've heard of that before.

Speaker:

It's kind of like repaving the street or something,

Speaker:

or choosing a different way to get somewhere and your brain

Speaker:

and the things that you're thinking now,

Speaker:

it doesn't have to stay that way.

Speaker:

You can literally recreate how your thoughts are happening,

Speaker:

which is so fascinating to me.

Speaker:

So I don't know if this falls in line or not,

Speaker:

but I'm thinking now with subconscious,

Speaker:

there may be things that have been reinforced with you over

Speaker:

and over again,

Speaker:

for example,

Speaker:

you may have unsupportive parents.

Speaker:

I'm just going to go with that.

Speaker:

Cause it's the first thing that comes to mind.

Speaker:

So all the time that you have been a child,

Speaker:

all those formative years,

Speaker:

there were messages coming down to you that you were less

Speaker:

than, or you couldn't achieve,

Speaker:

or money's hard to make,

Speaker:

doesn't grow on trees.

Speaker:

Like, you know,

Speaker:

whatever those stories are that you get.

Speaker:

Right? And then there's also to my way of thinking,

Speaker:

I'm gonna ask you if I'm right on this and how

Speaker:

this fits us.

Speaker:

But then there's also that one person who says one thing

Speaker:

to you,

Speaker:

like maybe it's your math teacher who says you are not

Speaker:

good with numbers.

Speaker:

And because you respected that person so much,

Speaker:

it really hit you.

Speaker:

And it sets a path for your whole life that you've

Speaker:

decided you're not good with numbers.

Speaker:

So it could be someone who's continually telling you something like

Speaker:

appearance situation,

Speaker:

or it could be a one-time powerful statement that gets stuck

Speaker:

in your subconscious,

Speaker:

that you keep repeating.

Speaker:

That's correct.

Speaker:

And so that information starts coming in,

Speaker:

but something like the math teacher reinforces it.

Speaker:

And it's like a very clear path in the forest of

Speaker:

your mind.

Speaker:

It's very,

Speaker:

very clear because you've gone down it a bazillion times.

Speaker:

It doesn't mean that it's true.

Speaker:

And it doesn't mean that it's good for you.

Speaker:

It just means that that is the belief that you've.

Speaker:

And so that pathway is clear.

Speaker:

Why do we put so much more weight?

Speaker:

I think on the negative thoughts versus the positive thoughts?

Speaker:

Like why would we choose then to refined things in reaffirm

Speaker:

that we're not good at math versus having figured out the

Speaker:

change for your first dollar for when you were little for

Speaker:

your first sale and saw that you did it right?

Speaker:

And then be like,

Speaker:

no, I can do math.

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

why do we go towards that negative versus the positive mostly.

Speaker:

Right. And I just think for one it's human behavior,

Speaker:

it's easier to believe the negative things about ourselves or the

Speaker:

things that keep us small.

Speaker:

And then I'm going to go ahead and blame it on

Speaker:

the conditioning of society that reinforces that you need something outside

Speaker:

of yourself to feel better,

Speaker:

that you won't be happy until this happens.

Speaker:

And I have worked with people who have an account,

Speaker:

remember like what religion it is.

Speaker:

But like,

Speaker:

there are a couple where they don't watch TV.

Speaker:

They're not watching movies.

Speaker:

They just believe that they are a divine expression of God.

Speaker:

And so they're never taught those beliefs from a young age.

Speaker:

And whether some of us might look at those people and

Speaker:

be like,

Speaker:

they're crazy.

Speaker:

They also are like very empowered as creators because they never

Speaker:

had the conditioning.

Speaker:

That was like,

Speaker:

they're not good enough.

Speaker:

They've never been imprinted by the societal judgment,

Speaker:

if you will.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

Or the movies or the music,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

there's so much good pop music that is so disempowering,

Speaker:

it's codependent.

Speaker:

Like I can't live without you type things or like,

Speaker:

I'm not going to be like,

Speaker:

I need drugs if you're not around me.

Speaker:

You know what I mean?

Speaker:

That's so much messaging that just gets repeated through movies,

Speaker:

through TV,

Speaker:

through music.

Speaker:

And gosh,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

in any single day,

Speaker:

all of us are just bombarded by things that we don't

Speaker:

even recognize are coming in.

Speaker:

And those impressions,

Speaker:

I guess,

Speaker:

are being made all the time and we can't change it

Speaker:

unless we're going to do what you were just talking about

Speaker:

with that couple where you kind of barricade yourself off almost,

Speaker:

which I think is unrealistic for most of us.

Speaker:

What do we do to manage through this and to handle

Speaker:

it? Do you have any tips for us?

Speaker:

I want to get it at the very end.

Speaker:

I want to talk with you about how you work,

Speaker:

what your sessions look like,

Speaker:

all of that,

Speaker:

but can you share with us some things that we can

Speaker:

do to better ourselves in this area to counteract it,

Speaker:

whatever you might say,

Speaker:

just so we walk away with something tangible to start getting

Speaker:

a feel for all this.

Speaker:

Yeah. And I really like to meet people where they're at.

Speaker:

You know what I mean?

Speaker:

So starting with things that are very doable,

Speaker:

but very powerful and impactful,

Speaker:

just like I was lighting some sweet grass to start our

Speaker:

conversation. I mean,

Speaker:

before you even get out of bed in the morning,

Speaker:

you really could set an intention.

Speaker:

You could imagine how you want your life to feel and

Speaker:

connect with the feeling you could journal.

Speaker:

And so the subconscious mind loves repetition.

Speaker:

So if you set an intention in the morning,

Speaker:

remind yourself of that several times throughout the day.

Speaker:

Yes, that's a conscious mind behavior,

Speaker:

but repetition and also connecting to your intention,

Speaker:

combined with practicing,

Speaker:

what that would feel like changes the way that your cells

Speaker:

are responding in your body.

Speaker:

It changes your electromagnetic frequency.

Speaker:

It's like when people are trying to manifest or create money

Speaker:

or love,

Speaker:

but they're like really tense and like angry and upset and

Speaker:

like pissed that it's not happening.

Speaker:

You're not going to be as an effective creator as you

Speaker:

are. If you just like repeat your intention to yourself and

Speaker:

practice connecting the feeling with that.

Speaker:

So that is a really powerful thing.

Speaker:

That's worked for me.

Speaker:

It's how I guide people when they're here on my treatment

Speaker:

table and I'm taking them through a meditation,

Speaker:

practicing feeling what you want and what do you want.

Speaker:

Sometimes I ask people what they want and they don't know.

Speaker:

We want to focus on what we want.

Speaker:

We don't want to focus on what we don't want.

Speaker:

And again,

Speaker:

to your point before,

Speaker:

why is it so easy to focus on the negative?

Speaker:

Everybody knows what they don't want,

Speaker:

how many people actually know what they want.

Speaker:

That is so true.

Speaker:

And I see that a lot.

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

one of the first things I talk about with my students

Speaker:

is what do you envision your business to look like?

Speaker:

Define it for me.

Speaker:

And many times they've only gone to the point of,

Speaker:

I want to have a business making candles.

Speaker:

They haven't gone to anything else,

Speaker:

any of the other details.

Speaker:

So if it's like that with something as finite as what

Speaker:

a business would look like,

Speaker:

I can only imagine what do you want for your life?

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

like how much more intricate that would be.

Speaker:

So just the thought of doing that gives me pause and

Speaker:

is really interesting to think about,

Speaker:

but I'm going back to myself and thinking you say,

Speaker:

and this makes total sense to me.

Speaker:

You say,

Speaker:

you need to be calm.

Speaker:

You need to feel it.

Speaker:

And you need to be calm as you're envisioning,

Speaker:

or as you're drawing attention to what you want for the

Speaker:

day or whatever.

Speaker:

How do you do that?

Speaker:

If you're not naturally a calm person,

Speaker:

I wake up and I'm like,

Speaker:

okay, this is what I'm doing.

Speaker:

This is what I'm gonna do.

Speaker:

This. I'm gonna do out of bed,

Speaker:

go to it.

Speaker:

And for me,

Speaker:

it's like,

Speaker:

get my coffee,

Speaker:

get to the desk and get to work type a a

Speaker:

hundred percent.

Speaker:

That's your habits.

Speaker:

That's your subconscious.

Speaker:

Like, I need to do this to be productive,

Speaker:

to prove my worth,

Speaker:

to know that I've done a good job,

Speaker:

that I'm a good person,

Speaker:

that I'm helping people.

Speaker:

And so practicing the feeling as if like,

Speaker:

if you've ever felt peace or common,

Speaker:

intentional, you can draw upon that.

Speaker:

You can notice where you might feel it in your body.

Speaker:

If you do connect with your intention,

Speaker:

you can grow that.

Speaker:

I try to,

Speaker:

sometimes one visual that works for people is like imagining yourself,

Speaker:

like a scuba diver up at the surface.

Speaker:

And you drop down from where it's noisy and loud,

Speaker:

and you go into the quiet,

Speaker:

still place of your heart.

Speaker:

And then from here imagining what you want to feel more

Speaker:

of in your life.

Speaker:

And just sit with that for 30 seconds.

Speaker:

Even before you jump out of bed and start running around,

Speaker:

and then do that several times throughout the day before you

Speaker:

get on each podcast meeting,

Speaker:

before you want to have a talk with your husband or

Speaker:

your kid,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

I did that with you before we got on,

Speaker:

like, how do I want this to feel connect with that

Speaker:

in my body,

Speaker:

set an intention,

Speaker:

light, a little sweet grass.

Speaker:

My son does this to me sometimes.

Speaker:

Like he was just in recently and he saw me and

Speaker:

I don't think my type a personality as a positive thing

Speaker:

at all,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

in terms of my running and doing and getting things done,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

all that.

Speaker:

But at one point he's like,

Speaker:

mom, stand,

Speaker:

still breathe for a second.

Speaker:

So he's doing kind of what you were saying.

Speaker:

He was pushing me into just stand for a second reflect,

Speaker:

take a deep breath reset.

Speaker:

So it's really interesting How fun He's 34.

Speaker:

I know he's very into all of this.

Speaker:

And so I'm learning from him also,

Speaker:

but just that memory,

Speaker:

which was just a couple of weeks ago,

Speaker:

came up to me just by way of what you were

Speaker:

saying, like throughout the day,

Speaker:

take a minute.

Speaker:

And I'm also thinking to what we were talking about earlier.

Speaker:

Leaving room for people is for us to make it really

Speaker:

applicable when you have a meeting with somebody or,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

like breathe for a second and make sure that you're going

Speaker:

to take the time to understand where they're coming from first,

Speaker:

before you just dive in right away.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh,

Speaker:

Krishna, this is something I'm going to use already.

Speaker:

Like starting from the time we get off this call is

Speaker:

just to take time during the day.

Speaker:

And like you said,

Speaker:

30 seconds who can't afford 30 seconds,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

two or three times a day,

Speaker:

even just to start.

Speaker:

Yeah. And I mean,

Speaker:

again, it's that reroute.

Speaker:

So the repetition is going to help you reinforce.

Speaker:

If you've done some subconscious work,

Speaker:

your new belief,

Speaker:

or it's just going to help get you,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

the conscious mind you have to work so much harder to

Speaker:

make change or create expanded beliefs,

Speaker:

but repetition will help get you there and connecting with a

Speaker:

more relaxed,

Speaker:

ideally a theta state in your brainwaves,

Speaker:

which is like the point right before you get to sleep,

Speaker:

which is why first thing in the morning.

Speaker:

And then when you're about to go to sleep are the

Speaker:

most powerful times for meditation and this kind of stuff,

Speaker:

because you're closer to the feta where you're more receptive.

Speaker:

I see.

Speaker:

Okay. And when we're talking about that,

Speaker:

you do these quick,

Speaker:

like check-ins or resets,

Speaker:

how does that connect with some of the potential subconscious thought

Speaker:

that might come up for you?

Speaker:

Like the math thing?

Speaker:

Such an interesting conversation.

Speaker:

Isn't this we'll get right back to continue on where we've

Speaker:

left off after a short break to hear from our sponsor.

Speaker:

Yes. It's possible increase your sales without adding a single customer.

Speaker:

Speaker:

Speaker:

Speaker:

Yeah. I mean,

Speaker:

I think that the conscious mind and your habitual thoughts are

Speaker:

we'll try to pull you out because again,

Speaker:

the conscious mind is working a lot harder than the subconscious.

Speaker:

Whereas if we expand your belief in the subconscious is not

Speaker:

going to be so hard for you to believe that you

Speaker:

are worthy of love,

Speaker:

that you have valued just as you are without having to

Speaker:

hustle, hustle,

Speaker:

hustle, prove that you're worthy because what you create because of

Speaker:

what you do.

Speaker:

And if you're happy like that,

Speaker:

great. But a lot of people are wanting to experience more

Speaker:

joy and they don't know why they're not.

Speaker:

And it's because they can't be present because they're in these

Speaker:

beliefs that they have to be a certain way to prove

Speaker:

that they deserve love.

Speaker:

Oh, that's powerful.

Speaker:

It's so powerful To prove that they deserve love.

Speaker:

Yeah, that's what it comes down to for so many people.

Speaker:

It's about not feeling worthy and deserving of receiving love.

Speaker:

Exactly. As you are a lovable of trusting yourself,

Speaker:

trusting that it's safe to be who you are and that

Speaker:

your voice matters and then safe to be seen.

Speaker:

Cause I work with a lot of creatives and coaches and

Speaker:

business people who are like,

Speaker:

have done all of the logistical practical stuff to get their

Speaker:

business stuff,

Speaker:

but they don't understand why the things aren't working.

Speaker:

And it's because the subconscious is ruling the show and the

Speaker:

subconscious is likely believing that you're not worthy of being seen,

Speaker:

that you're not worthy of being heard.

Speaker:

It's not safe to be who you are.

Speaker:

You're not worthy of having money,

Speaker:

which energetically represents freedom and choices and support.

Speaker:

Okay. So I want to tighten this up and bring this

Speaker:

closer to our listeners experiences.

Speaker:

I have somebody who makes essential oils.

Speaker:

They've done it for themselves for years.

Speaker:

They now have a business and they're selling essential oils sales.

Speaker:

Aren't going that well,

Speaker:

they're getting frustrated.

Speaker:

And what you just said is their subconscious is telling them

Speaker:

they're not worthy because they're equating selling their products to being

Speaker:

loved as the maker of the essential oils.

Speaker:

Let's say,

Speaker:

Yeah, the subconscious of very contracted and limited belief about something.

Speaker:

So if anybody out there in any scenario,

Speaker:

I'm just using something more concrete,

Speaker:

just for conversation purposes,

Speaker:

we're literally then sabotaging what we have stated we want.

Speaker:

And would it be right to say that pretty much in

Speaker:

a hundred percent of the cases,

Speaker:

that's what we're doing.

Speaker:

If we're not getting results,

Speaker:

I love that you're honing in and you're making so much

Speaker:

sense of this so quickly.

Speaker:

Yes. If your conscious mind and your subconscious have very different

Speaker:

beliefs or experiences,

Speaker:

it is like pushing on the gas and the brake at

Speaker:

the same time,

Speaker:

there's a conflict.

Speaker:

There's not harmony.

Speaker:

And so the first thing that you've just talked to us

Speaker:

about is a good first step.

Speaker:

Well, first I think the first step is understanding that that's

Speaker:

happening recognizing that this is at play.

Speaker:

And then to your point about setting intentions for the day,

Speaker:

and then checking in periodically throughout the day to reestablish the

Speaker:

feeling and kind of counteract what your subconscious might be telling

Speaker:

you. Well,

Speaker:

that's one way to start sort of tapping into the subconscious

Speaker:

and trying to create a new experience is what I showed

Speaker:

you with the visualizations and meditations.

Speaker:

But if you do this kind of work and maybe there's

Speaker:

other stuff,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

EMDR is something that can work for some people What's the

Speaker:

EMDR, That's a talk therapist or a psychotherapist would be trained

Speaker:

in. And it also works with the subcontracts to give a

Speaker:

reroute from usually traumatic or stressful events,

Speaker:

whether it's past,

Speaker:

present or future in the same way that in a way

Speaker:

that site Kay,

Speaker:

would, that's the process that I'm trained in,

Speaker:

or you can do something like resourcing,

Speaker:

which is where you're building upon like,

Speaker:

say that peaceful feeling that you want to have.

Speaker:

So one way people can work with the subconscious and then

Speaker:

the other way for some people is hypnotherapy.

Speaker:

I don't personally love hypnotherapy because I want to be conscious

Speaker:

and I want to know what's going on in a session,

Speaker:

but that is the way to drop into the subconscious.

Speaker:

I also feel like from what I've experienced and I've experienced

Speaker:

so many beautiful healing modalities,

Speaker:

and I am just an embodied facilitator in the healing arts,

Speaker:

like this process of psych K and I don't like the

Speaker:

name, it stands for psychology and kinesiology,

Speaker:

which is muscle testing.

Speaker:

I call it subconscious transformation because that's essentially what it is.

Speaker:

But this process for me is the quickest thing and the

Speaker:

most direct route.

Speaker:

And then when you're doing the things like the visualization and

Speaker:

the meditation,

Speaker:

you're just reinforcing this new belief that you've created through the

Speaker:

subconscious transformation work.

Speaker:

Okay. All right.

Speaker:

Can you give us one more tip of another thing that

Speaker:

we can walk away with?

Speaker:

And then I want to get into how you work with

Speaker:

your clients and all that.

Speaker:

What I love about this is that we're not focusing on

Speaker:

what you don't want.

Speaker:

We're not focusing on the horrible things that have happened or

Speaker:

less horrible things that were just hooked and in a feedback

Speaker:

loop with,

Speaker:

we are concentrating on what you want so that you can

Speaker:

create an expanded belief.

Speaker:

So I would say for your listeners,

Speaker:

if they wanted to tip,

Speaker:

start focusing on what you want and what does that mean

Speaker:

for you?

Speaker:

Practice the feeling of it.

Speaker:

Yes. Practice,

Speaker:

knowing what you want.

Speaker:

You can journal with that once we know what we want,

Speaker:

we're going to then start making choices that support that.

Speaker:

And that's another reason people come to me is changing and

Speaker:

expanding their subconscious beliefs so that they feel worthy of feeling

Speaker:

sexy in their body of making choices that support their body,

Speaker:

mind and spirit.

Speaker:

Like how many people have been on diets or want to

Speaker:

feel different in their body.

Speaker:

And they get to a certain place with a cleanse or

Speaker:

a way of eating.

Speaker:

And then they just kind of fall back because they're in

Speaker:

a limited or self-sabotaging beliefs.

Speaker:

So I've worked with that a lot.

Speaker:

That makes sense.

Speaker:

I know I've heard the stories about this too,

Speaker:

where people let's say they lose a bunch of weight and

Speaker:

all of a sudden now they're attractive and they're getting additional

Speaker:

attention and they're not comfortable with it,

Speaker:

or they,

Speaker:

what you're saying,

Speaker:

don't feel like they deserve it.

Speaker:

And so they put on all that weight.

Speaker:

Well, it can also the,

Speaker:

to be about feeling safe,

Speaker:

to be seen,

Speaker:

feeling safe,

Speaker:

to be sexy as heck,

Speaker:

Right? A lot of women,

Speaker:

or maybe men will hold weight as armor and as a

Speaker:

shield because something happened where it wasn't safe for them,

Speaker:

or they had energy projected onto them that they didn't know

Speaker:

how to handle.

Speaker:

Yeah. That completely makes sense.

Speaker:

So focusing on what we want,

Speaker:

well, first identifying what it is and then reinforcing to yourself,

Speaker:

reminding yourself that that's what you want.

Speaker:

What happens when you get that?

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

you call it like the little mean girl on your shoulder

Speaker:

who starts talking to you.

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

if you're trying to focus on what you want and trying

Speaker:

to go more into your subconscious through meditation or something,

Speaker:

but those negative voices start talking.

Speaker:

And I love that.

Speaker:

And that's going to be our shadow energy.

Speaker:

That's going to be the wounding.

Speaker:

That's going to be the conditioning.

Speaker:

And so when we have the subconscious tools to work with

Speaker:

that wound and transform it,

Speaker:

then we can integrate that mean girl,

Speaker:

on the shoulder that Boyce love her.

Speaker:

Be like,

Speaker:

what do you need right now?

Speaker:

I've never heard that before.

Speaker:

Yeah. Acknowledging because a lot of us with trauma or stress,

Speaker:

we just want to push it away.

Speaker:

Now, look at it,

Speaker:

void it and not deal with it.

Speaker:

Right. Okay.

Speaker:

I hear you.

Speaker:

I'm going to keep focusing on what I want.

Speaker:

And this is conscious mind tips.

Speaker:

I'm giving you the subconscious working with that is going to

Speaker:

be like,

Speaker:

let's go,

Speaker:

Oh, The conscious mind can be like,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

it's just going to take a lot longer.

Speaker:

But I would say,

Speaker:

when you hear that,

Speaker:

be like,

Speaker:

Hey, I hear you.

Speaker:

That's no longer true for me.

Speaker:

I'm gonna practice focusing on what I want.

Speaker:

And again,

Speaker:

practice feeling it in your body,

Speaker:

along with visioning it so powerful.

Speaker:

And then if you do that in the morning and the

Speaker:

night, most powerful and reminding yourself in the,

Speaker:

in the day so that you start making choices,

Speaker:

that support that.

Speaker:

Yeah. These are consistent themes.

Speaker:

I'm hearing from you the morning and the night are the

Speaker:

really the strongest places and the whole visualization also super strong.

Speaker:

And the other thing,

Speaker:

I guess I've heard,

Speaker:

I just want your comment on this.

Speaker:

I've heard when you have that mean,

Speaker:

girl on your shoulder talking is find instances where you can

Speaker:

prove to yourself that that's not true.

Speaker:

Well, and good luck with that.

Speaker:

Not working with the subconscious,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

I'm not trying to be like it's DJing,

Speaker:

but you definitely want to acknowledge and be like,

Speaker:

oh, you're showing me where I'm hurting.

Speaker:

You're showing me where I'm contracted.

Speaker:

You're showing me where I'm limited.

Speaker:

Thank you.

Speaker:

Okay. So instead of fighting it or arguing,

Speaker:

debating, instead of that,

Speaker:

the fighting,

Speaker:

arguing, debating with it,

Speaker:

it's like,

Speaker:

thank you for this information.

Speaker:

Your subconscious telling me more of what you're feeling,

Speaker:

the subconscious part,

Speaker:

what you're feeling and where I need to work and okay.

Speaker:

I got it.

Speaker:

I got it.

Speaker:

Okay. Question.

Speaker:

Does that ever go away?

Speaker:

If you work with your conscious mind might start being able

Speaker:

to be with that a little bit more,

Speaker:

but for some people,

Speaker:

those triggers,

Speaker:

they are upsetting.

Speaker:

They make people feel sick.

Speaker:

They have avoid it.

Speaker:

It's too stressful or painful.

Speaker:

I mean,

Speaker:

that's why I didn't like ever connect with talk therapy.

Speaker:

I don't want to go and sit and talk about shitty

Speaker:

stuff that feels crappy.

Speaker:

I just want to get it off my body.

Speaker:

I want to move on.

Speaker:

I have the conscious awareness.

Speaker:

Great. Now how can I like move on three clear.

Speaker:

Okay. And so like,

Speaker:

we'll, I'll talk with people about,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

what, going live on social media,

Speaker:

let's say,

Speaker:

yes. You're always going to be a little bit nervous.

Speaker:

Just click the button,

Speaker:

start talking.

Speaker:

People are going to show up who want to hear from

Speaker:

you that initial nerves before you do whatever it is I'm

Speaker:

just using that idea will always be there accepted.

Speaker:

It's fine.

Speaker:

You can live through it.

Speaker:

Don't worry about it.

Speaker:

Know that it's going to happen.

Speaker:

Click the button,

Speaker:

go live different from what you're saying here,

Speaker:

that you don't always have to be having that negative talk

Speaker:

coming in.

Speaker:

When you do subconscious work and do some healing,

Speaker:

it will go away or be dramatically reduced.

Speaker:

Is that right?

Speaker:

That, and you can create a more expanded beliefs.

Speaker:

So in the process that I'm trained in that I guide

Speaker:

people through,

Speaker:

we do balances.

Speaker:

And so the balance as the goal of them is to

Speaker:

get into what's called a whole brain state,

Speaker:

which means the left and the right hemispheres of your cerebral

Speaker:

cortex communicate clearly.

Speaker:

I'm one that happens.

Speaker:

That's when the subconscious mind expands and you can move on

Speaker:

and have a reroute from stress or trauma or in a

Speaker:

different balance.

Speaker:

You create a new belief.

Speaker:

Because again,

Speaker:

if the belief doesn't exist in your subconscious,

Speaker:

it won't happen.

Speaker:

Okay. Is this how you start working with people?

Speaker:

You define those two areas and then like,

Speaker:

identify what your client is dealing with.

Speaker:

And then you go from there.

Speaker:

Yeah. And just basically I would ask where do you feel

Speaker:

stuck and held back or unrepeat and then where do you

Speaker:

want to grow?

Speaker:

And we can just work with those.

Speaker:

Sometimes people show up and they have notes and they know

Speaker:

what they want to work on.

Speaker:

Some people show up in they're like,

Speaker:

I don't know,

Speaker:

I got all these things.

Speaker:

Something that's intuitive is going to know how to guide you

Speaker:

to the right place.

Speaker:

And so those are kind of the two main balances that

Speaker:

I'd worked with with somebody that's just doing like one,

Speaker:

two or three sessions,

Speaker:

is that information,

Speaker:

a stress balance or the belief statement balance where we're creating

Speaker:

bigger, more expanded beliefs.

Speaker:

And in a session we're doing it probably at least two,

Speaker:

because I am intuitive.

Speaker:

But even one balance is incredibly transformative for a lot of

Speaker:

people. And then I'm working with other people who do want

Speaker:

to do more subconscious transformation.

Speaker:

And like within five or six sessions,

Speaker:

I'm just watching people become absolutely different people In terms of

Speaker:

how they show up in the world,

Speaker:

What they are saying no to what they have boundaries with,

Speaker:

where they are growing.

Speaker:

And they're being seen and feeling safe to be seen what

Speaker:

they're able to be present with in themselves,

Speaker:

the joy that they're able to experience and then does this

Speaker:

like for again,

Speaker:

my community does this transform because all of that is happening

Speaker:

with them.

Speaker:

They're presenting their business in a different way.

Speaker:

And that leads to increased sales.

Speaker:

Could you make that extension?

Speaker:

Absolutely. And you know how,

Speaker:

like somebody might have training in something or do all the

Speaker:

like logical practical things,

Speaker:

but you can just feel in their expression that they are

Speaker:

not embodied in their experience.

Speaker:

Probably because they have the mean girl on the shoulder that

Speaker:

they haven't been able to like love and integrate and safe

Speaker:

feeling seen in the world and worthy of love,

Speaker:

deserving of lots of money,

Speaker:

whatever it is.

Speaker:

I see that a lot in my community.

Speaker:

And I'd mentioned when I was talking to you a little

Speaker:

bit, we were just connecting on who the listeners are here

Speaker:

because a lot of,

Speaker:

well, pretty much everybody here makes their own product or started

Speaker:

making their own product.

Speaker:

They have such a personal investment.

Speaker:

And every time somebody picks up a piece at a craft

Speaker:

show and then puts it down and doesn't buy it.

Speaker:

It's kind of like a personal,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

like that.

Speaker:

Or someone walks away from the table and doesn't buy anything.

Speaker:

It feels so personal.

Speaker:

And I can observe when I'm talking with people,

Speaker:

how they don't necessarily speak with confidence or conviction or belief,

Speaker:

even though they love their product so much.

Speaker:

And their real purpose is they want to share their products

Speaker:

and all the goodness that they have with others.

Speaker:

It's not coming through and let's face it.

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

what we see from others will affect our reactions if we're

Speaker:

going to buy or not.

Speaker:

If someone's not confident and passionate showing the product,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

or talking about the product,

Speaker:

what motivates me then to buy it.

Speaker:

That's what I'll see when I'm out at live shows,

Speaker:

when I'm talking with people in the community,

Speaker:

et cetera.

Speaker:

They're just not,

Speaker:

I'm not saying everybody obviously,

Speaker:

but they're just not presenting themselves or their products with that

Speaker:

confidence and that joy and that passion that I really do

Speaker:

know they have,

Speaker:

but they're just not showing it.

Speaker:

Yeah. I mean,

Speaker:

imagine being a creator in the world and you have the

Speaker:

belief, I believe in myself,

Speaker:

my voice matters.

Speaker:

What I have to offer is valuable.

Speaker:

I mean,

Speaker:

those are huge beliefs for people,

Speaker:

But it's one thing to say it,

Speaker:

it's another thing to really believe it.

Speaker:

And to have that as a subconscious belief again,

Speaker:

which is where you're going to just do the heaviest of

Speaker:

lifting and the most powerful transformation.

Speaker:

Yeah. It's mind is just going to take so much longer.

Speaker:

Yeah. That's something that you kept saying to trying to deal

Speaker:

with this directly through your conscious level is a much harder

Speaker:

road than going subconscious and working with it there.

Speaker:

Yeah. Of them working together.

Speaker:

And another tip,

Speaker:

the subconscious doesn't know what's real and not real.

Speaker:

And it doesn't understand past present and future.

Speaker:

It's only in the present literal tense.

Speaker:

So being mindful of what you scroll and watch for media,

Speaker:

if you're constantly watching a bunch of like war movies or

Speaker:

drama or stressful things,

Speaker:

your subconscious doesn't know the difference between what is actually,

Speaker:

I know that's blowing your mind right now,

Speaker:

You watching my face.

Speaker:

Is that what you would say in that?

Speaker:

Totally. And it's careful about like what I choose for one,

Speaker:

I have incurred like an incredible amount of interest.

Speaker:

There's so much I could do with my time,

Speaker:

but I don't watch movies and TV that much because of

Speaker:

that very thing.

Speaker:

I need to choose things that make me want to live.

Speaker:

Not things that make me stressed out and worried about everything

Speaker:

all the time.

Speaker:

Right. Well,

Speaker:

and the other thing that I think is a big force

Speaker:

of optimism is past present future.

Speaker:

Like what happened at a past craft show or a past

Speaker:

experience does not dictate what will happen in the future.

Speaker:

If you set your mind,

Speaker:

because you could also set your mind to make it happen

Speaker:

that way.

Speaker:

Okay. So how do you work with clients?

Speaker:

How would people work with you share a little bit about

Speaker:

that? Well,

Speaker:

virtually or in person site cake done both ways.

Speaker:

Again, session is very powerful for most everyone I've ever worked

Speaker:

with. Like,

Speaker:

I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't felt changed in their

Speaker:

life from one session,

Speaker:

three sessions is a really good place to start to do

Speaker:

deeper work in all aspects of your life.

Speaker:

And then some people are like,

Speaker:

this is what I've been waiting for my whole life.

Speaker:

I want to do 10 sessions and like expand all areas

Speaker:

of my life and move on from these stressful things that

Speaker:

have me on repeat.

Speaker:

So yeah,

Speaker:

no where you feel stuck in limited and where you're not

Speaker:

growing nowhere you want to grow.

Speaker:

And the people that I'm working with a lot now are

Speaker:

people wanting clarity,

Speaker:

people wanting to be present and have that feel good and

Speaker:

safe so that they can feel more joy and connection.

Speaker:

I'm working with a lot of women,

Speaker:

like I said,

Speaker:

who are super successful,

Speaker:

productive achievers,

Speaker:

boss, boss babes,

Speaker:

but they're like wanting to feel safe in the masculine.

Speaker:

They want to have a relationship where they feel feminine and

Speaker:

soft and open,

Speaker:

and that feels safe for them.

Speaker:

So I'm doing a lot of relationship coaching and love coaching,

Speaker:

which I love And move on from stress and trauma.

Speaker:

Wonderful. I think we can all be like,

Speaker:

oh my gosh.

Speaker:

Yes, yes,

Speaker:

yes. For us.

Speaker:

So where would people go and find you and learn more

Speaker:

about the types of things that you're offering?

Speaker:

Yeah. So I have a resources page on my website,

Speaker:

which is just my name,

Speaker:

Krishna Avalon.

Speaker:

They have some beautiful practices on their somatic meditations,

Speaker:

which just means connecting what your body's experiencing with what your

Speaker:

mind is believing.

Speaker:

So you get a sense of how I guide people.

Speaker:

There are some breath work practices on there that are very

Speaker:

powerful, but my website tells all kinds of stuff about me,

Speaker:

what psych K is,

Speaker:

what that process looks like,

Speaker:

what subconscious transformation would mean,

Speaker:

who could use it.

Speaker:

And then Instagram I'm on.

Speaker:

When I feel inspired to be,

Speaker:

I post in stories and people read those a lot.

Speaker:

I took Facebook down like 10 years ago.

Speaker:

Don't miss it one bit To your point of control,

Speaker:

what you're exposed to and what you're doing,

Speaker:

right? Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah. All right.

Speaker:

Wonderful. So I love this because it's nice and simple.

Speaker:

I think the best place for people to go is your

Speaker:

website to learn more.

Speaker:

And as you guys know,

Speaker:

those are show notes page.

Speaker:

You can resource it there.

Speaker:

If you're out walking and need to go back and figure

Speaker:

out how you can connect with Krishna.

Speaker:

Thank you so much.

Speaker:

I knew this was going to be an interesting conversation cause

Speaker:

it's getting into areas that I don't know as much.

Speaker:

I feel like I know a little,

Speaker:

but not a lot.

Speaker:

And I've been enlightened for sure.

Speaker:

And I know a lot of our listeners have too,

Speaker:

so thank you so much Krishna for showing up today and

Speaker:

sharing with us all your goodness.

Speaker:

Thank you.

Speaker:

It's been fun to also watch you like hone in and

Speaker:

like get expanded in your own.

Speaker:

Like, oh my gosh,

Speaker:

that's possible.

Speaker:

So it's a good medicine for me to buy.

Speaker:

I have to admit,

Speaker:

I did not find it shocking to hear Krishna say that

Speaker:

most people really don't know what they want.

Speaker:

I've struggled at times to put my vision into words too.

Speaker:

So as we leave our time together today,

Speaker:

I'd like you to take some time and think about what

Speaker:

it is you truly want struggling with an answer.

Speaker:

That's okay.

Speaker:

It's a great place to start.

Speaker:

I also found the part about our subconscious,

Speaker:

not knowing what's real and not real and not being able

Speaker:

to differentiate between past,

Speaker:

present and future to be very powerful,

Speaker:

a concept to consider further and act on.

Speaker:

For sure.

Speaker:

If you miss that part,

Speaker:

go back in and listen to the show again.

Speaker:

It's worth it.
